Penrhyn Mawr and South Stack with Phil Clegg, Andy, Krista and Annette. Krista was from Canada and Annette from Sweden. Phil asked Andy and I if we would join him to make the numbers up.
We set off from Porth Dafarch and headed to Penrhyn Mawr. I practiced my roll in the outer race, which was sort of ok (it got me up) the first time and was much better on doing it again. I also did a good re-entry roll in the outer race, which was my first time in the big bumpy stuff. Phil told me it was a 5 star reentry roll. So I apologised!
After messing about in PM, we did lots of rock hopping on the way to South Stack. The light was excellent. The rock formations in the sun were fabulous. Lots of climbers dangling around precariously too!
At South Stack the race wasn’t very big, but we did see some porpoises. I was a excellent day with lots of sunshine and light easterly winds. Thanks Phil, Andy, Krista and Annette.
