After a few phone calls and a little organising I traveled to Lincoln, nice and early to pick up my paddle mate and friend of Sabina's. We then set off to meet up with Sabina in Filey for 10:00 am. Whilst everyone was getting ready I had a quick surf. The waves were pretty good fun, but it wasn't long before we set off for Scarborough.
Unlike my companions I took a tight line around the Brigg. Once again the waves were quite steep and impressive, before becoming quite messy around the Brigg. I had some fun moments.
We made good time to Scarborough. What more can I say it was a beautiful day.
Before we knew it we were back at Filey being greeted by some para-gliders flying off the cliffs. We even bumped into some HPPCC members who had come to Filey surfing for the day.
